Flavie Bagnol is an award-winning communication and public speaking consultant. With over two decades of experience working in communication, education, and the media industry, Flavie helps her clients reach the next level in their communication skills. Flavie knows what it takes to communicate effectively, and present ideas to attract a targeted audience
Bilingual in English and French she has experience in business and multicultural environments living between New York and Paris and working with world-class companies, CEO, and top executives on global projects.
Flavie Bagnol was a director at Burson-Marsteller’s Corporate and Financial practice in New York. She served a variety of clients including ICSC, Purina, Sony Mobile, Criteo and Bank of America Small Business for which she garnered top placements with the Today Show, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Reuters, Adweek, CBS News, NBC Nightly News and Wall Street Journal Live. She was also a key player in the development of “Burson Lift”, a branch of Burson-Marsteller that provides counsel to help emerging companies achieve their vision.
Prior to starting her firm, Flavie was the VP of communications for Thrillist Media Group, a leading men’s lifestyle multi-platform publication. She started Thrillist’s first communication/PR department, developing and executing strategy that evolved the company from a niche e-mail service to a mainstream media channel. Flavie spearheaded co-branded marketing collaborations for Thrillist Media’s e-commerce destination Jackthreads, a members-only online shopping club that curates contemporary men’s fashion brands.
Flavie also has nearly a decade of experience working as a news producer for CBS News and The Early Show. At CBS News, she produced live and taped segments tapping into a wealth of experts from multinationals and politicians, to analysts and thought leaders. She served as a breaking news and features producer covering events such 9-11, Hurricane Katrina and Presidential elections.
A French native, Flavie is a graduate of City University of New York with a degree in media studies and has a master's degree with a focus on International relations and immigration in the Americas, from Sorbonne University in Paris.
Bagnol was profiled in 2017, Bulldog Reporter as one of the movers and shakers of the communication industry and in the NY-Observer as one of 2012 Top 100 Most Poachable Players in Tech.
She has also studied Spanish, German, Latin, and Greek. She is a marathon runner and yoga enthusiast.
She is a member of the very exclusive Wall Street Journal Network Women of Note.
She is a member of AAWE, Association of American Women in Europe.
She volunteers with Les Petites Soeurs des Pauvres.
